Airport Transfer

 With over 9 million passengers travelling through the airport every year it is the 7th busiest airport in the United Kingdom. The airport serves more than 85 destinations including domestic and international destinations in Europe, Asia and North America. The airport was officially opened on July 16th, 1938 and has only one terminal building. The airport was subjected to major refurbishment in the year 1999 and was upgraded with a new traffic control tower, new cargo centre and an improvised passenger terminal.

The passenger terminal at Luton is well equipped with basic facilities like pay phones, currency exchanges and cash dispensers. Minicab are available at the main entrance. For business travellers, the terminal has business lounges and conference centres. Luton has ample facilities for disabled travellers and passengers travelling with infants. Departure Lounges and Arrivals Meeting Points are accessed through the walkway from the main terminal building. The airport operates an automated boarding announcement system in the departure lounge for boarding and final call for each flight.
